Join me behind the scenes of my third campaign shoot with one of my long-term clients (and a personal favourite), Holly Wilde Swim.

As a Gold Coast campaign photographer, building ongoing relationships with brands is something I truly value. This was Holly and I’s third campaign together, and every shoot just gets better as we both grow within our industries. Her designs are unlike most on the market - bold colours, striking patterns and offering both flattering, high-coverage cuts and cheeky bikini options that make the creative direction easy and versatile.


When a brand has such a strong style, capturing high-converting e-commerce imagery and social media content becomes an exciting creative challenge rather than just a deliverable.

The Arena Collection - Gold Coast Campaign Shoot

For this campaign, we shot the new Arena Collection at a stunning coastal-designed shoot location here on the Gold Coast. The space had the perfect mix of textured walls, Mediterranean-white tones, and tropical landscaping. The ideal spot for elevating the collection’s bold aesthetic.


Our incredible models, Ash and Elke, brought the energy to life. I always appreciate an all-girls team on set, it creates such an empowering, collaborative and comfortable environment. That atmosphere translates directly into the imagery. When everyone feels confident, it shows.

As a Gold Coast fashion and swimwear photographer, creating that space is just as important to me as lighting and composition.

Creative Direction - Inspired by a mexican colour palette

The mood board for this shoot leaned heavily into a Mexican town-inspired aesthetic - think vibrant colour palettes, tropical props, sun-drenched textures and playful styling details. The location complemented this vision perfectly, allowing the swimwear pieces to pop while still feeling cohesive and luxurious.

For swimwear campaigns, I often focus on delivering:

  • Clean, consistent e-Commerce photography
  • Detail shots that highlight fabric and fit
  • Lifestyle imagery for Instagram and paid ads
  • Campaign hero images that immediately captures customers

Holly’s Arena Collection gave us the creative freedom to do all of the above in one seamless shoot day.



Expanding Into Video Creation - A New Creative Direction

For this campaign, Holly also asked if I could capture video content alongside the stills. While videography isn’t traditionally my primary focus, I absolutely loved the process - experimenting with movement, speeds, and capturing the swimwear in motion with the morning sun.


I went home that day and immediately invested in a gimbal.


There’s something so exciting about combining swimwear photography and branded video content - especially for fashion brands wanting cohesive visuals across website, social media and digital campaigns. This shoot marked the beginning of me diving deeper into video production for brands.


And honestly? The video speaks for itself.
